Jamie Colby

Colby has worked for Fox News since July 2003 as a National News Correspondent and Anchor. Colby worked as an anchor, reporter and journalist for CBS News before moving to FOX News Channel. Colby was also a substitute as a reporter and anchor for CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is licensed to practice law throughout New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. Her awards include the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002, for coverage of the September 11 attacks. 11 and for her reporting on the September 11 attacks. Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000 and Clarion Award for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her one of the "Rising News-Show Star to Watch". Colby was an attorney and, along with her professional career as a journalist for 10 years as a private practitioner. The law firm that Colby founded was formed when an Hollywood production firm assigned her to The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she joined the show. Colby was a reporter as well as host on Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal process of NBC along with him and during his divorce. From January of 2015, Colby has served as reporter and host on The Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance.
