Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a privileged family. She's the youngest out of three siblings. She was raised in a convent and discovered a love of the arts. Later, she studied at the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin but quit because she had a lack of motivation. It was her idea to go on a vacation for a time to make sure she got the hang of things. In the meantime, as she was sitting in a cafe with friends and chatting with friends, she was approached by a photographer who inquired if she'd consider modeling. She agreed, thinking she could use the money for pockets money. Modelling was both profitable and enjoyable, and very soon she did it professionally. Modeling contracts led to commercials and she was able to travel the globe. Then, one day, a casting director saw her work, and suggested that she try acting instead. When she was 19, she was sent to London where she got the audition to be in A View to a Kill ( 1985) an upcoming James Bond movie. The acting was her love, and she decided to work as an actor. After the first film she acted in, she shot a few TV productions both in London and in Dublin However, her major break came when she got in the role of Aryan seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
